I have just started to do arpeggios seriously with Teacher and I can't believe what I have been missing. Really wakes up the fingers and get them glowing!

Ooo, an i love arpeggios club. Arpeggios in 7ths are the best

I like arpeggios too. I get some of my pupils to play them in contrary motion.

No!! I have to make a big effort not to pass on hatred to students...dominant 7ths though, blissful!

I've started to practice them without looking at the keys - it's not easy at first but with practice it really helps when I come to perform them for teacher.

Just need to learn speed now........

Apeggios are FAB! haha!

only because I can do them in diminshed 7ths first inversion root cord and diminshed 6th I think ( can't remember what was needed for G6) but I love them! haha! They are incredibly easy to learn.

I can't do my other scales though. I learnt the Apreggios the quickest and broken cord apparently. I used to struggle on getting my hand for the normal scales haha! =]]

Haha, ditto - can't stand arpeggios but I really like dominant 7ths. I should probably get out of the 'I love arpeggios club' thread...

I love arpeggios, especcially E Major.
