Chords at cadential points has finally clicked in my rusty old mind. Petra helped me, and my piano and flute teachers have also helped. Did loads of reading too. Funny how things suddenly "click", and then you can't understand why you didn't get them before rolleyes.gif
My piano teacher was VERY patient laugh.gif

I'm not really an adult learner, but congratulations anyway! Well done, it sounds really complicated to me.

Yes - I can identify with the joy of that sort of moment. Then you think, what was there to understand, it is obvious - but of course it is only obvious because of all you have done in the background

I have to say that the moment it 'clicks' with a pupil, and you can see it in his or her eyes, is one of the most rewarding times of a teacher's career as well. Well done to you.

Hofnotes is a website that's devoted to aural training, specifically for the ABRSM aural section of the exam. It's very convenient to simply log on and quickly do a few questions.

Here's the website.
