Have just booked daughter's Grade 5 piano exam online and am now concerned that, if she doesn't get the result she hopes for, it will somehow be my fault for 'Sunday Trading.' Irrational - but true. unsure.gif

It's not Sunday trading though, you're not exchanging goods with anyone who is working on a Sunday... ph34r.gif You can therefore have a completely clear conscience. smile.gif

There seems to be a new forum member called 'Barry'.

This was the name I wanted back in 2006, but a zero poster already had it. The mods must've had a clearout of zero posting accounts since then...

He's in the theory area. I suspect he's not like me. I'm unique. I shall leave it up to the forum at large to decide whether being like me is a good thing or not laugh.gif

Is the problem where to go? or when? (presumably not who to go with laugh.gif )
Babybird2
Bit of both. As we're only going for a week it'll most likely be somewhere in Europe, preferably somewhere sunny laugh.gif
We were planning on going in June, but as I'm unemployed I don't know what I'll be doing in June. If things continue as they are, presumably nothing rolleyes.gif But on the other hand, if by some miracle someone offers me a job, I don't want to start off with "oh I'm on honeymoon that week...." blush.gif
I know unemployed and holiday don't go together, but the honeymoon is a wedding present from my new inlaws smile.gif

Book for early June. I'm sure any employer worth working for would understand delaying a start date by a week or so for your honeymoon. It isn't as if it is a normal holiday is it.

Sicily. Sunny, lots to see, like Italy but more exotic. We spent our honeymoon in Cefalu - absolutely beautiful.

I do that when there is something that I really need to remember for the next day. I stick it right in the middle of the screen so I can't do anything without removing it. Outlook or calendar reminders just don't work; I sometimes mindlessly delete them when they appear.

While I was out feeding the ducks yesterday lunchtime, there was the most ENORMOUS noise - like a low helicopter going over. Only it turned out to be a monster diesel locomotive on the nearby railway line (sadly usually electric, which doesn't make a nice noise or smell).

I am ludicrously please that thanks to t'Interwebs, I have been able to confirm that it was a Class 37. My husband will be so proud of me laugh.gif tongue.gif

While reading this I randomly thought about how we were standing on the balcony at work on the royal wedding day watching the flypast, and were remarking upon how the sound of the old planes (Spitfires & Lancaster bomber) was unmistakable.
