Yeah I remember the 'BBC' one but now it seems the Lord's angels have been bought out by News Corporation and conversations between the shepherds in the fields of Bethlehem are being illegally (by Gods' law) tapped.

Very easy.
You have to link it to an Amazon account then you can either order books directly on the kindle or order on computer or phone and the books will download next time your kindle connects to wifi (or 3G if you have that sort.

The difference for reading for any length of time is that the kindle is easier on the eyes and is not affected by sunlight shining on the screen.

And if you buy the cover with the light in it you can read in bed without disturbing your partner. I love my Kindle and I've only had it a few weeks. It has to be easy to use as I am a technology idiot - but I haven't had any problems so far - except that when I tried to download via my computer using a site other than Amazon my computer wouldn't recognise the file type used for Kindle. I haven't solved that one yet.
Also, being out of the UK I only had the choice of buing my Kindle on Amazon. com or Amazon France. I wasn't allowed to buy it on Amazon UK. I opted for Amazon. com because the French site didn't have the model I wanted and in any case the Kindles were more expensive. They were actually advertising the model without the wireless connection as being the most up to date one. The problem is that now I can't Google on the Kindle. Apparantly this service isn't available in France - well at least not on my Amazon.com Kindle account . I don't know if anyone else has any suggestions about that?

I'd only use the internet on the Kindle in dire need.
It's a moderately useful feature but far too labour intensive to bother really.
