I sometimes feel like the maligned judge who says, "Would they be popular entertainers?" back in the 60s referring the Beatles or Rolling Stones or similar.
Heard of them (due to press's obsession with 'celebrity'). Never seen them. And before you ask, yes I have a TV!

She said something about paying monthly. Since I had already explained invoices are sent for half a term at a time, I thought we were definitely not on the same wavelength.

Two hours ago, I thought everything looked so empty now the Christmas decorations are down. Now, I think it looks so clean neat and tidy!

I was reminded today of the last music course I went on and how I miss just playing for fun with musos.

One of our locals has installed a live webcam in the bar, so the world can see their patrons enjoying a quiet jar or three.
I am not too sure whether this idea will be universally popular, especially amongst those who would rather not advertise the fact that they have spent the past two hours in the pub rather than taking the dog for a walk (even if it is fairly obvious to everyone else where they have been).

I am up to Lesson 5 in the new edition of "A Tune a Day for the Guitar " and Lesson 11 in the old editiion.
This has taken me about a year. Am I very slow? Well I don't have a teacher and I only practise about 10 minutes a week.

Processed a cat food coupon through the checkouts yesterday. Read the small-print, and it said:
"Please do not redeem this coupon for any other product as it may cause embarassment and delay at the checkout"What a load of nonsense that is. Alright, if you redeemed it for a bottle of milk or something, then that would be embarrassing, but would you really do that...

This time last year I was in bed with suspected swine flu and ended up pulling an intercostal muscle (ribs) from coughing which meant pain for about 8 weeks. Today I'm coming down with a sore throat

it would be fab to see you again as well

Sympathise - my trumpet and guitar playing nephew has given me whatever bug he had so I'm stuffed full of some bug or other - coughing, sneezing, etc etc.
