because of Murphy's Law
and that's how people make Life... more complicated.. ask Avril Lavigne, she wrote a song about that.

Thanks, things are still as complicated as they were, but I'm feeling better. And I do think I can sort things, though it may just be a little more difficult than before

It's difficult to keep a straight face when you're in the doctors' waiting room and the previous person to be called in has a name straight out of OLTVA....
...Ida Down. I kid you not.

On the subject of "trying" another instrument. Since I took up the harp back in April, I've discovered that I'm more inclined to practise the piano, and given the very limited practise time I have available, the poor harp is usually neglected and with me not even feeling remotely guilty (probably partly as I'm still at the toddler stage where 15 min practise can mean visible progress). However, having been without the harp for the past week, I miss it terribly terribly (and to make up, I spent a fortune on some easy harp music at Forsyth's

). Absence does make the heart grow fonder

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Decided I wanted to enter a photograph competition. Had some nice photos which I thought I could submit.
Read the rules, and they can only accept pictures which have been taken by camera which have 3 megapixels or more. Fine, but my camera is quite old and only has 2.14.
It's so annoying! Nobody else in my family has a camera with 3 MP. Maybe I'll just enter the images I have...

Must admit, I tend to cut a nectarine up over a dish (to catch the juice), then wash my hands before eating it with a spoon! They are lovely though!
