I was walking out of school yesterday after my last recorder lesson of the day.
One of my year 2 pupils saw me, and dashed across the playground to give me a hug, saying "Mrs Jay I really love my recorder lessons"

I patted her back as she hugged me, feeling really pleased. And then thought "Hang on a minute...something's not quite right here...I have an empty hand..."
And then walked back to the music room and collect the bag of spare recorders I'd forgotten.
