There are no such directions in Space. They are specific to our planet, though it would be possible to use them on other planets by common consent.
All planets in our solar system have a North and a South pole - all have rotational poles, obviously only those with magnetic fields have magnetic poles!
You can go to galactic north or south, as the galaxy also has poles (rotational). The 'North Star' (Polaris) is pretty much bang on galactic north (it's close enough for polar alignment using a home telescope, but probably a bit out if you're using something a bit swisher, like Hubble).
But if you were in intergalactic space, you'd be out of luck. Or, you'd have to reference everything to the Milky Way Galactic North (or south)
