My teacher was telling me about this new piccolo book she got recently. Her son (he's 3, I think) saw it(it has a picc on the front cover) and said "I don't like the piccolo"

It would be lovely to have a piccolo, or an alto flute, or indeed any type of flute at all, it's a very nice instrument....

My brother's girlfriend is away for the week on tour, and so her bass floooote is just sitting at home... maybe I could get her to give me permission (through my brother) to borrow it, considering I am currently looking after a rather huge surprise birthday present for my brother from her (so then he doesn't see it in her house), I reckon I could!

Well, it can't have been that obvious if you've only just noticed.
I have just been given a small box, with the name of the couple that got married yesterday (only Mum went, but us children know them well too) and the date of wedding- and inside it had a piece of wedding cake in! A nice touch, I thought!
I am currently on a no chocolate/no sweet things diet, but this was a special occasion. It was a rather scrummy piece of cake, I must say!
