people find I weird that I don't just listen to Indie or Pop or Rock or Metal or Classical, I like to listen to a bit of everything depending on mood and place and company....and the amount of people who have nearly passed out when they've seen me stroll into a local club's Alternative" night and say..."but you're a classical musician?!?!" and I stand there thinking, "yes, but I like this stuff too!!!"

All this Spam talk has got me listening to the Spamalot soundtrack hehe

The golf has started on TV.

It's just as well there are other sports to watch that are more interesting than golf. Actually, watching the old Carol Hersee playing noughts and crosses with the clown test card is more interesting than watching golf...

I had a great day at the Open at Turnberry yesterday, weather perfect, good company, and a few miles of good exercise. It was good to see Tiger Woods make a balls up of an straightforward par 3 (the 15th) . He was as upset as a dog with no tail !

Spoons seem to have replaced paperclips as the currency of choice in our office. There are no spoons at all in the staff canteen. I forgot to bring my own spoon in today, and had to beg a plastic spoon off a colleague to eat my soup.

When paperclips were the elusive currency of The Office, my desk drawer seemed to breed them. Sadly it has not started breeding spoons.

The little lad I look after sometimes has just won a competition for writing a poem which resulted in him winning some book vouchers for him and his school as well as being photographed for the local paper. Needless to say i am really proud and happy for him... however I seem to have found myself agreeing to take him to see the new harry potter which he is desperate to see having followed the series of films- his mum doesnt like it, but i wanted to see the new film.

Problem being he is only 6. Will they let him in if he is with me - i'm 18?

We're making it a surprise for him... otherwise he will get over excited!

He's already over the moon after winning and his mum says when he finds out i am taking him then he will be way too excited for the next few days til we go
