Random thought: the computer is being really slow.
And it keeps opening links in new windows when I've pressed 'new tab'.
I've been wondering for a few days whether I will attain Maestro status before or after I take my LRSM. Looks as though they may happen on the same day.
I've got a skip on the drive... sometimes items appear in it from nowhere, sometimes items disappear into thin air... 
Next time I don't think I'll bother with a skip, I'll just leave unwanted items at the end of the drive and wait for them to disappear

What a shame 59 year old Tom Watson couldn't win the Open golf championship - that would probably have been the best sporting achievement ever if it had happened - arguably. But in the end he was eventually sunk by Cink...

It's raining here too.
We already have lots of lakes from last week.
There's a very pretty lake where the race course should be - I saw it yesterday and there were lots of pretty white ducks enjoying their new home. 
Everywhere near the river is already flooded, and I'm very glad I've left a bucket under where the ceiling was leaking in my room. Perhaps we need the flood control where I live rather than on here.

I currently have 11111 words in my chapter. I wonder when I will next have a symmetrical number at a point when I do a word count. I won't get another string of one number, because the chapter's meant to be 15000 words.
