Really? Oh good laugh.gif

I'm going to see if I can get through the whole lot this year. Which means I'll try to do more homework to use 'em all up. I dunno if my logic works... we'll see. I'm really excited about finding out how I cope with coursework/revision. Cos some people are great at being organised with it, and some find it impossible. Don't know what I'll be like, could be either biggrin.gif

It's great isn't it!!!! I'm so glad it's not just me... all my school friends still think I'm bonkers though rolleyes.gif

I even head to the stationary aisle in Sainsburys, to look at all the smooth, silky writing gel pens. And it's other stationary too, like... post-it notes, or diaries, or tipex. Aaaaaahhh paperchase! I went there yesterday, and mum forbode me to buy anything. She obviously saw my pen-covered-bed. I persuaded her to buy me a clear plastic zipper folder though, because I always carry around a plastic wallet from inside a ringbinger, and put all my loose bits of paper in. But that always breaks, so I needed something more sturdy wink.gif

I've figured out that it makes me feel like I'm organised, when I'm really not.

That's like sleep patterns, isn't it? Something to do with Circadian rhythm or something, isn't it? Someone did a presentation about it at school once.

Someone said the weirdest thing today...it was really bizzarre! We were in our form room at tuck and I was eating a massive bit of birthday cake, and then this girl (who is basically the form cow) said, I quote: "Oh Camille you know the only reason you got Head Girl was because all the teachers think you're anorexic, so they thought it would give you a confidence boost!" I was so shocked ,but then I said: "Right, well if that's the way you feel, I'm going to go and enjoy my cake elsewhere!" ohmy.gif And the strangest part is...I'm not even that skinny! We were all horrified by what she said, because there was a girl in our form last year who had to go to a rehabilitation clinic for an eating disorder...and it was awful for her! ohmy.gif

Boys are... nice blink.gif

It's so weird. At primary school you so much as smile at a boy, and there's a chorus of "OMG!!!!!!!" then for days, weeks, months afterwards it's "You FANCY him!!!!" So after that I've sort of avoided them, because in my mind it has been boy= boyfriend, which doesn't interest me just yet.

Now at drama, girls are friends with boys. Hmmmm, strange. I still see boys from my primary school strutting around town in trackies and stupid hats, going "Awwwwwwight" then spitting at you. Nice, eh? So boys have always been classed as jerks by me, really. At drama, they've started to actually talk to me, and are there as a friend option, it's so wwweeiiirdddd. The girls are mostly catty, and laugh, and patronise, and talk to you and ask you questions, then show you that they care zilch about you because the next week they ask the very same questions. But the boys don't seem to do things to be spiteful, if they don't want to talk to you, they are polite, but generally ignore you. If they do, they listen, and manage to actually retain information.

I don't know. It's doing my head in.

You'll notice that at about 17ish they begin to mature. wink.gif Girls apparently mature quicker, hence most girls going for older guys. (some of us are exceptions... ph34r.gif)

I talk to more males than females these days because I feel safer telling them things - they don't go off and analyse everything, generally - they just take what you say at face value... I'm generalising here, but it seems to be true.

Me too. If it can't be sunny I hope it's very obviously raining in the morning so it's rained off before I go out, as opposed to the last time when we managed about a set's worth of material amid drizzle and high winds before having to give up - the vocalists, bass, guitar and piano are all miked up to a P.A so we really can't soldier on in the rain.

The best way to react to that kind of comment if it's annoying you is to turn round and say something along the lines of 'Yes, he is gorgeous, isn't he, didn't I tell you we're going out!' in a sarcastic voice and generally rise above other people's immaturity.

I always used to say "oh yes, we're eloping on Saturday! Will you be our witness?" Then you can avoid the inevitable accusations of "lyyyying" from those who are a few crisps short of a packet. The funny thing is, while they seem to want you to be madly in love with your best mates as long as that embarrasses you, most people get rather upset if you go along with it all, or don't bother to contradict them. laugh.gif

agree.gif Salt brings out the flavour during cooking - it's not at all the same added at the table. People are always telling me that I can add salt, but it can't be taken out; however, that's not really how it works!

I've had quite a busy summer cooking-wise, so my very kind, unemployed son offered to cook for us three days in a row this week to give me a rest. He cooks very well, but won't add salt, and I've missed it quite a lot even if it is supposedly better for my health. sad.gif
