Same! They're my favourite dogs, along with german shephards and labradors/retrievers. I swear there's a breeder near to us, because I've seen several husky puppies being walked around, and one man walking 5 tiny little puppies smile.gif

My sister used to live down Walderslade way a while ago and when visiting, I often used to see a guy with a few Huskies with a wheeled "sled" - it looked like he had great fun being towed along by them biggrin.gif Easy way of making sure they get their 2 mile run each day!

My corned beef pasty is actually a cheese and onion one. huh.gif That's not what I wanted or what I asked for, but having bit into it I can't return it now... sad.gif

On another topic - am I the only one that feels completely ridiculous talking to one of those automated voice recognition things? I was just paying gas and electricity bills and felt like a right idiot (and was getting frustrated with it interpreting "nine" as "one") wacko.gif

Why don't they just let you use your keypad?

She's probably guilty of doing what I do sometimes... I read the first bit of the sentence and skim over the end of it, not really taking it in. It's cost me marks in exams before where I haven't read the question properly. blush.gif

Does anyone know what a tick with a cross through it means? I'm redrafting a couple of essays, and my tutor's provided plenty of notes, and help and stuff... In bits that he hasn't specifically discussed with me, there are these occasional hybrid tick/cross things and I don't know what they mean. Occasionally they crop up by points that I really do think are right/fully developed, so I assumed it was just a weird sort of tick... Now I've just seen one by a point which was total rubbish and waffle though... So I'm confused!

Do I maybe have more rewriting to do than I bargained for?

That's what I thought at first! But they're next to some of the points he told me were good. rolleyes.gif They're kind of not tick crosses, but like... ticks with a bracket through them...

Maybe he ticks all the points he thinks are good, and then crosses them all out as he counts up the ticks in order to give you a mark?

Just a little anecdote from yesterday.
Brother and sister share a music lesson directly after school and have to walk from the college building to the primary school.

Brother (arriving first)" Sister's going to be late"
Me "Why's that?"
Brother "She's got relaxation."
Me "Oh, what's that? "
Brother "Lessons to stop you being stressed."
Me (Thinks but doesn't say it aloud ) "It might be a better idea to give them a less loaded timetable."
Sister (rushing in loaded with enormous school bag, out of breath and visibly stressed) "Sorry I'm late.
I ran all the way. We had relaxation"
Me "You don't look very relaxed."
Sister " Well, the silly ******* always over runs her time so we're always stressed to get to the next
lesson."

I'm really sad, I can't do a crab anymore! I used to be able to do them easy peasy, and shoulder stands and things(never anything like cartwheels though- too wimpy for that lol) but now that I've stopped swimming training, my back has got really weak, and I just can't do it! So scary sad.gif I'm going to get back into swimming I've decided, and possibly join the gym too, and aerobics classes. Maybe yoga...

I'm thinking of trying to stretch each day to do the splits in a few months, it would be so cool! One PE lesson to casually say "Oh, I've learned to do the splits" then watch the horror on my friends faces as I slide into position. HAH. And I'd love to be able to do a chin up, and I can't do monkey bars anymore.

Hahah, as if. But it's worth a shot smile.gif I really ought to get fitter, I had a nightmare last night that all of my teeth fell out, then the dentist said that I was obese rolleyes.gif

laugh.gif We had yoga at school the other day, but I had a music lesson in the middle, so I just sat and watched them do it. It was really funny watching them groan and creak! laugh.gif And then at the end, she got them to all lie down on a mat and close their eyes. She started a speech that went something like:

'Now, imagine you are lying on a tropical beach, feel the warm sand beneath your toes.' laugh.gif

One girl actually fell asleep! I felt relaxed just watching, although when they were lying down, it felt really weird, like it was just me, the yoga instructor, and a few dead bodies in the room! huh.gif
