Because if you're anything like me, you won't have nice square boxes and the like to wrap up.
Oh no.
You'll have the strangest shape presents that it is possible to have, which require several hundred yards of tape and tons of patience to wrap successfully...

Why do we have to study Wordsworth instead of Blake? Why am I even bothering to write this essay, when my English teacher has refused point blank to mark one of my others due to his grudge against me? Why am I writing this essay even though it doesn't matter whether my teacher hates me or not - he still never bothers marking essays?

OK, so I'm driving back to the motorway on my way home from Andante's choir rehearsal this afternoon...
And I realise that the lights just round the bend in the road are Santa's sleigh, all covered in little bulbs glowing away.....
And I think to myself "Crumbs, that's going fast. Those reindeer must have had their weetabix this morning"....
And then, as I get to the motorway slip-road, I overtake the vehicle, and see that Santa is actually being towed by a RAC recovery truck...

I very much doubt you can get a mortgage under the age of 18. Don't see why you couldn't buy one for cash, though.
Oh, no, I'm wrong, a quick google for "house buyer minimum age" shows that someone out there will give you a mortgage and insure it for you when you are 16. Though a lot more have minimum age 18 and some have 20 or 21 or 25...(whether that's the mortgage or the insurance, I didn't look further...)

Sounds good...
Why is it that I wrap all the Christmas presents in our house even though it normally does me back in?
Maybe if I had a Beethoven Bed my problems would be solved.
And why is it that with the best of all intentions I never get everything done in a day I need to without feeling so exhausted if I did any more I'd fall over?
