Well, I hope you find anything left in the shops! I had quite a depressing time this afternoon looking for my last few presents.
Newbury has been virtually cleaned out of gifts worth buying, with a week still to go. All the Christmas wrap, mincemeat, tree lights etc are on special offer already in Tesco and Sainsbury's, ensuring that there'll be little left for those who like to shop in the last week before Christmas. No chocolate coins, tree chocolates, etc, etc. My husband went to get a real tree last weekend from a Cut Your Own place, and all the ones the height we wanted had gone.
People seem to be starting Christmas so early now that if you try to be a bit more traditional you find you've lost out. Grump, grump...

I've heard people speculating that it's because she was so thin as well, but I don't think it could be.It's a tragedy whatever the cause though.

The "rêve de miel" I mentioned in the previous post was recommended to my daughter by the French horn teacher because her lips crack in cold weather and once bled copiously in her trombone lesson. (Trombone teacher panicked and called the French horn teacher in to help). It really is very good and has nothing in common with ordinary lip salves.
Rêve de miel... that's such a romantic name for lip balm! If lip balm can be romantic

Think that they had them in BHS and possibily boots, and I think the pound shop. I know that I have seen them in a few places.
