I've been getting a bit of Hay Fever somedays.
Loratidine has no effect on me , but Cetirizine is much better
I was told some time ago by a friend in the pharm industry (with no vested interest!) that Cetirizine works best for most , though not all people.

Same here! I think I'm finally growing out of my hay fever though, as I've had very few symptoms this year and have only taken 3 tablets so far. smile.gif

Yes, it has fluctuated over the years, although I've always known it as 29028 since my schooldays.

The earliest figure I recall being quoted is 29002 (but then I WAS born the year Hilary and Tenzing "knocked the bu88er off"). 29028 is the one I always hear as "correct".

Bear in mind the Himalayas are still growing.

I had a French exam last Monday (it's English and Related Literature so I have to do a language), but other than French, which only counts for one module, it's assessed by essays. smile.gif Thanks. Now I'll just have to try and keep the motivation going. smile.gif ph34r.gif

Or, even better, two hours on Biology before lunch and two hours on Physics this afternoon and you could still be finished by 4 o'clock!

When I was doing my GCSEs (well 'O'-levels actually...). I set myself a fairly strict schedule with 40 minutes revision followed by a 20 minute break when I would read, or practice clarinet, or do something else (far fewer distractions in those days), then back to the next chunk of revision. The fact I only had to work for 40 minutes meant it was bearable, the fact that the breaks were "allowed" meant that I enjoyed them and didn't feel guilty.

This is what I did for exam week (internal exams all packed into one week, not hugely important but I'm the sort of person that tries to work for everything...), but even though these exams are more important, I can't seem to get into it. Yep, seriously. I mean my year wasn't huge, but that's 10 babies...

There's a girl in my brother's year (he's 15) who is pregnant. That made me feel quite weird, because I'll always view him and his friends as being about 8!

I couldn't imagine having a child either, Fran. My best friend (who is 20) has a 2 year old daughter who is absolutely lovely, but I couldn't cope with having one of my own just yet... (Matthew especially couldn't tongue.gif)

I can sympthasise with that-one of the girls at dancing announced she had a boyfriend the other day:she's twelve, so this is perfectly acceptable, but I still think of her as being six or seven like when she first started! I agree with you on that, I love kids, but I like them better when I can "hand them back", as it were, at the end of the day! I also doubt my boyfriend would be overjoyed at the idea either! tongue.gif

Oh, totally! I remember when I was younger and my mum's friend would bring her babt to our house, and Mum would say that she loved being able to hand them back.

There are a number of people I was at school with who have 8 year olds - with kinda freaks me out because I've only just turned 25.

Kids don't do much for me personally - a friend of mine just had a baby daughter and everyone's been around to see her and to have a cuddle - I don't get it at all blink.gif

buffy
I waited until I was 31 before I had my first child (I now have three) and even then, not because I was particularly broody. Because I'm the youngest in my family (including cousins etc) I had absolutely no experience with babies, although being a teacher, I knew I liked children at least! Therefore I was totally unprepared for my feelings. It was like a love affair - I couldn't think about anything else. Everybody 's different but I suspect if/when you have a baby you may surprise yourself.

Some parents love their babies as soon as they are pregnant, some love them the minute they are born, and some fall in love with them after they are born over a little time. smile.gif

Sometimes I wish I could be a bass... Especially when they get lines like "do do dn do do dn do do dn do do".

Although to be fair, at the time the altos are singing du du wop du du wop wo wo wo wooo...

Being tenors and sopranos must be so boring.

The words tenor and boring should never appear in the same sentence!
