Why has my university intranet suddenly decided to make the place where you type your username invisible? I can cope with the password appearing as dots but the username is just an invisible bit of screen on which you can see the curser moving but not what you have typed or even how many characters you have typed. It keeps telling me I have made a mistake

If I see him again, I may very well do that! He seemed like the type of person who'd like it here

Sometimes I can find what I'm marking funny but this time I have just got too many of them (I have got 385 and a week to do them in). I just think if they're going to write drivel they could just as well not have written anything, that way I wouldn't have to read it and waste time writing a comment (we have to justify all our marks) I could just write CB (copie blanche) and be done with it. At least the one I wrote above was short, some write a page or more of absolute rubbish in very bad English.

These holes are a sign you're becoming ever more perceptive about your clarinetting, and that's a good thing.

This one has little to do with how perceptive I am and a lot to do with not managing to get through anything intact ........ except sight reading was pretty good.
Need to break what is shaping to become a cycle of stuff ups.

Well I have given the go-ahead to the builders to knock the wall down that separates the front room and the hallway to give the room another 3' - that means I can fit a grand in once all the revonation work is done.

Still toying with knocking down the middle wall but am loath to lose a dedicated dining room...
