Yes BB2 gets married on Easter Saturday , and her 'do' is at my regular mid week hotel . I can leave her a card from all forumites if you think its a good idea.

I am too nice.... I was practising the piano and DD needed to practise the violin or she can't watch Glee at 9pm, so I vacated the room so she could practise.... only.... it's me who has an exam in a few weeks not her! Am I crazy? She can't watch Glee if she hasn't done enough practise (it's the only she cares enough about to change her behaviour!!!!) so if I didn't let her do it now, she'd have to miss the programme.....

There is no sign of it on his statue, but they have sculpted (or do I mean cast?) his specs. Tsk!

That has really got me thinking. Why is it we embrace the glasses that most of us need as we get older almost as fashion accessories yet hide hearing loss that again most of us will suffer from?

Well my hearing aids are clearly visible for all to see. Unfortunately the in ear ones were deemed unsuitable for my type of hearing loss.
When I get my hair cut I get it short all round, not hiding the hearing aids in any way what so ever. Have not had any problems from anyone yet.
C++ is superior to Java for many reasons, not least because (like Perl) it puts the PROGRAMMER in control and not the language.
It is just like in music. Some people (Like Java's designers) think there is one correct way to do anything and everything (their way !! ) ... others (Like the Perl and C++ communities) accept that "There is more than one way to do it" and try to accomodate many diffferent styles and methods.

"It will be fine her friend assured her. The weather's cold." Daughter duly put it in her bag to bring home and eat after school and when she got home ...

I agree. Really enjoyed it when I played it.
Have just collected B1's rented flute (yes, I said no more instruments, and I'm not quite sure how this has happened) from the county music service. Could not resist putting it together and having a little toot. Very impressed that I could make a noise that was vaguely musical.
Cleaned it, buffed it with a cloth, and popped it back in its case - she will never know.
It's just so shiny .... I think I'm in love...
