Hi harmonious,
According to 'These Music exams' published by the AB, the minimum tempo requirement for scales at grade 7 [piano] is 80 minims. And as for the arpeggios, they are set at a minimum of 56 minims [per minute]. Hope this helps. These metronome markings suggest the MINIMUM speed for your scales and arpeggios.
Good luck with you exam.

But accuracy is more important than speed.

Its better to play them correctly and clearly. Speed comes second. On the day of the exam you'll get so nervous chances are that your scales will get out of control if you play too fast.
Best of luck with your prep.
