well, today my class is so noisy!!

there are no teacher in indonesian and english lessons today(very seldom...), so we chatted a lot and walked around the class!!

i learnt the third newton's law today in physics lesson so confusing because i haven't fully understand the first and the second!

that's all!

Hi my_broken_reeds. In England most of the schools are very, very quiet because it is half term and there is no school. You might have seen the level of postings today from England have increased.

Newton's laws are great:

1 - Inertia
2 - F = ma
3 - Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. In a nutshell.

No lessons 'til next Wednesday!

Grrr today was my first day back from the October holidays (we get less time in Scotland than England )
Today was ok, I learnt the cosine rule in maths which was quite easy!!! Then in Geography we just got to talk and do SOME work (hehe not very much, but we were meant to do an exam!!!)
Oh my school is permanently noisy!!!

I'm on my 2 week October half term at the moment

Clariano, you prob. had you october hols a week earlier than us in Engliand, because you start back earlier....I think..

Just back at school yesterday after two weeks holiday...meh...
First was English...we studied Hamlet. I love Hamlet. No wait, I love Horatio. But the play is good. Yeah.
Then French. I have to write a 200 word essay on sport. I can't even write that in English, never mind French. I surf, but that's it!
Then double Maths. Not too bad! We're doing derived functions graphs. I actually understand it!
Then Music. I did some composing. T'was fun.
Then German. We read a chapter of a German book. Don't understand much, but it sounds nice.
So all in all, today was pretty average.

No school for me until tuesday. So I spent 9 hours in Sainsburys instead...

well, at last today i got the IGCSE o level books which was imported from abroad!

yay! can't wait to read it more!

today i learnt about chemistry (about equation) i seldom to be a neat student in chemistry lessons!

chemistry is so hard!!!! by the way i still love it!

the last lesson was the excited lesson today! it was native class, the teacher is an english! and he is very interesting and funny! we're all indonesian students always love with native class!!

At first I thought, "What did you buy in nine hours", but perhaps you were working. lol

No school for me till Monday! My school is moving to a new building so we get a full two weeks of October holidays!

Aileen - That's not fair! Did Dunoon not recently get a new building aswell? Well...Oban had ours first!
We had two full weeks anyway...I thought all of Argyll did?
Maybe not then!


Today was...average. Again.
First was music, where we studied Fugues
Then German, where we did modal verbs
Then double English, which was great fun. We did a past paper, then wrote about Hamlet. I still love Horatio more than Hamlet. I have no idea why. He has a pretty cool name, I guess
French was after that. I don't really remember what we did. It can't have been all that interesting!
And finally maths. I have a maths exam tomorrow...

Oh, do England not get two weeks off? I thought they did, oh well! Because we get a week off!
Today was good, I had band and orchestra which was very fun!!!

how come you get 2 weeks? we only have 1

First I had Music - our teacher is off all week so we had a laugh really but I got some of my first study voice done - then practiced some piano sight reading.
Second I had Business Management - actually got a lot of work done that period however found out I have a NAB (test before i can do my Intermediate 2 equivalent to A-Level's) next week.
Third was Physics which I hate. Hate the teacher, can't do it whatsoever and today i actually understood what he was talking about (something to do with L.E.D. and Diodes and V = IR)
Fourth was maths - which I loved. I'm good at maths so I really enjoyed it (yeah i know what a geek).
Fifth was English which I am terrible at and I had to do a Critical Evaluation on 'The Crucible' by Arthur Miller.
Last but not least was core PE. I didn't do it though because I had an operation to correct Scoliosis in February ( i got 2 metal rods either side of my spine and 25 screws screwed into it would straighten from an S-shape =D)and I'm not allowed to do a lot of sports just now (i.e gymnastics and trampolining)

***Just had my piano lesson there. Got my letter in with my date today - 12th November at Biggars music shop in Glasgow for grade 5. I'm so bad at aural tests (the first exercise - the one where you sing it back) any tips as exam is in 3 weeks.***

Had to cancel lessons for today. Hospital appointment with wee son - who is now sporting two blue plaster casts - one on each foot! Wee pet undergoing treatment.

today the chemistry was so hard!! really hate the word "ion"!!!

then, indonesian lesson was so boring

Hello, I work in chemicals and specialise in CatIONic surfactants, as well as oleochemicals , some of which I import from Indonesia. I will be in Jakarta in January, but probably only for one day.
