Post whatever odd socks exsist in your house, and see whose house the space-time wash has decided to leave the other one in smile.gif

I currently have no odd socks, having found the missing one underneath the washing line biggrin.gif

Well all my socks are odd, A pair is far rarer,
But luckily theyre all black so theyre just one huge family and if one goes missing from time to time theres still loads to carry on the sock legacy.

So you're just posting this for self-gratification, then, are you, while the rest of us read in awe? wacko.gif

I have a drawer designated to odd socks and nothing else. They languish and breed in there and would kit out at least two football teams, as long as they weren't fussy about their coordination.

I just wear my odd socks odd - most people just see it as a funny quirk, and it saves me from stressing about the situation.

laugh.gif No. The only reason I have no odd socks is because my mom seems to have an amazing gift with finding them! I'll probably have nothing but odd socks as soon as I have to do my own laundry.

Take a look at this thread - its why I posted this thread smile.gif

Haha, we have an odd-sock-drawer too. biggrin.gif Mostly plain black ones...but they're always a slightly different shade of black, so can't go together (well, according to my mum - I don't really care rolleyes.gif).

I have a nice red and white spotty sock missing a partner; anyone seen it?

I am missing one sock which is very dear to me - a white sock with black toe and heel and musical notes all over it. It is (was) part of my coolest pair of socks.

Can anyone help? sad.gif

Just wear each odd couple of socks as though they ought to be so and, if anyone should ask, simply say "Oh. Yes, there is another pair like this at home!" wink.gif

Once upon a time, my children had one of my favourite socks tied onto the bottom of a bunch of balloons - seeing whehter they could float with the extra weight - but then the door was left open, no balloons and no grey sock with red ladybirds... I often wondered what someone thought if they ever saw the balloons and sock floating along.

I had nothing but black socks for ages, but my dad kept taking them of the dryer by accident thinking they were his. Then when he wore them, they stretched so if I got them back, the heel would be half way up my ankle. So I went on a special trip to tescos and bought a whole array of black socks with coloured toes...

I have a shelf in my cupboard which is technically devoted to any socks who wish for sanctuary there from the evil feet of rac'sar but by a curious coincidence these all appear to be odd.

Hubby seems to breed odd socks too - although with him staying in hotels and at his dad's during the week when he's away working I'm sure the odd one gets left around somewhere......... sad.gif awwwww! Spare a thought for the odd sock left lonesome lying under a hotel bed somewhere......would make a good blues lyric........

Malone, you'll just have to post them to Viohazard here in Japan! Tesco's had no right selling our lost socks!!! We have a complete pair of the yellow and the purple thank you, but if you spot one with magenta heel and toe...

Did you know that Tesco is here in Japan - owns a supermarket chain known as "The Crane and Turtle", including our local mart. They haven't started selling those socks yet, but they do sell Tesco biscuits.
