I'm just beginning to learn how to arrange music. I was thinking of arranging a piece for four wind instruments - would any wind players be brave/kind enough to make up a quartet to play it at Teddington.... I could arrange it for any combination of flute/clarinet/sax. If you're up for an adventure, would you either reply on the thread or PM/email me please - I could do one of two pieces to arrange, and the first brave soul to reply gets to choose which piece

Sbhoa..the music will be in the post today! It's very easy and a well known one, so you'll be fine. I just had a problem finding a version to suit my voice range. Sorry for the delay!

Thanks to the brave souls who have volunteered! I just need one more to make up the quartet, and now that my teacher knows what we're playing, he's suggested cello or bassoon for the bass part, or another clarinet. So if you're a cellist, bassoonist or clarinettist and you're willing to support an adult learner arranger, do please PM me!

Applications for performer places at Teddington are now closed. I will take audience tickets by form until a week before the concert, but can't do on-the-door sales for this one because of the nature of the site.

And as my filing system is in its typical New Year meltdown just now, a few little queries, please.....

Please could performers make sure you have let me know what you are playing (I may have to ask people to refresh my memory)

Also, if you need an accompanist and haven't had confirmation from me of who will accompany you, please contact me ASAP

If you know who is accompanying you, please make sure they have your music ASAP.

If you are playing in a duet or small ensemble, I need you and your partner(s) to confirm that you are happy to play together.

The draw will be done about a week before the concert, and will be put on the website.
