Just been to my local piano shop and was recommended a Marshal piano.

Does anyone play one, or know anything about them? They sounded nice to me, but I don't play, though I hope to learn soon, At the moment I need a piano for harmony work and singing.

Looked at digital initailly, but might be changing my mind!!!!

Is this a second hand or new piano?

Here is a link giving a little bit of info regarding Marshall and Rose.

Also another link with info about Welmar pianos who seem to have bought out Marshall.

Thanks Lucia. It's a new piano, with one 'l' in Marshal. I think they are Chinese....

Can't find much info on the web - I was hoping that someone might play one, or know something about them. It's a big investment, especially when you dont't actually play what you are buying!! sad.gif

talking about pianos....why don't u choose yamaha or even a steinway (if u ar rich enough)

I'm not rich enough for a Steinway!

It will be my first piano, and these Marshal ones sound nice, and are cheaper than the rest, though not much cheaper than some of the Yamahas....

Hello, those pianos are great, all with german parts but assembled in China! The importer is out of Cambridge Ontario, and they offer great prices as well!

Hope that helps

Have a look at the Marshal piano web site for a bit more information about the company. If you've played one and like it, I say go for it! Different instruments suit different people, all of whom have different requirements.
