Am tackling grade three scales and I know the top F in the B flat major arpeggio has to be repeated. Does one tongue the second F or hold the note for two beats when playing the arpeggio slurred?

I'm playing flute!!!

You should tongue the second F, and also the second B flat at the bottom of the arpeggio. So you have six notes under the first slur (Bb, D, F, Bb, D, F) six notes under the second slur (F, D, Bb, F, D, Bb) and a final tongued Bb.
