I recently found this piece in an old exam book I picked up second hand. I'm not very far through learning it yet, but I think I might love it... wub.gif

I'm struggling somewhat through having tiny hands, and the piece having lots of octaves and a bit more than octaves also...! Middle two pages in particular driving me nuts. wacko.gif

Anyway, no-one can make my hands bigger, but does anyone have any performance notes, or other information to share about it? Favourite sections, or blindingly obvious details that I should try not to miss?

Anything at all would be helpful!

Hi,

I'm also having a go at this one and I also have fairly small hands!

I don't have any performance notes but have listened a recording by Alicia de Larrocha which is great!

What exam grade book was it in out of interest?

The only tip I have so far (which you may have already worked out for yourself is to take the (written) LH E (b78) and F-> E (b82) I take with the RH. Don't know if you do that but it works for me.

It's not much but hope it helps!!

It's the '01/'02 [or thereabouts] Grade 8 book.
