Does anyone know if you can obtain theory results in earlier in exceptional circumstances? I have an adult who sat her Grade 2 this last session, but is leaving for azerbaijan on 18th Dec for 18 months. As the 6 weeks will be up the day after she leaves, I am worried that she won't get her results before she goes, and I don't fancy forwarding certificates in case they go missing.

Hold onto her certificates. I thinks there is an internation version of special delivery, but I'd look it up on Royal Mail's web site.

Is there a way you can contact her by phone and tell her her marks initially?

Have you considered one of the courier companies

My husband works in places like Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. If this lady is going to the capital, Baku, then you should be ok to send via a courier like DHL - we send stuff to K via DHL and it seems ok. I don't know about more remote parts. You might need to wait until she gets there and susses out the local links. Communicate via email, unless she's going to the back of beyond.
