Hi was just wondering if anyone knew of any good books with Christmas songs in, mostly for playing for pleasure, with my housemates - Thought there might be a big bumper book of them or something. I've already got books with lots of carols in, so not really bothered about those.

preferably something with a reasonable standard, written for piano, not anything too basic. I've already had a little look online, but thought someone on here, might have some personal recommendation?? cheers :-)

If you're looking for carols to sing, I would try the "Carols for Choirs" books published by oxford Uni Press, they're fantastic, and really versatile, check them out =)

You might like The Big Book of Christmas Songs, Hal Leonard. If you have plenty of carols already this would give you lots of other songs and some festive piano pieces too.

Try this one if it for you and your housemates - it is 'the best Christmas songbook in the world ever'. (title not opinion) but has all of the pieces that they play in Woolworths on a permanent link from the beginning of September like Stop the Cavalry and a spaceman came travelling. Not the cheapest book on the market but I've certainly had my money's worth since I bought it 3 years ago.
