i think that arabesque 2 is a bit harder because of the rapid triplets and the wide chrods...
Paul G.
i prefer the first one.
DGA
I think both have the same difficulty....But I like the first one better, even though I needed some time to learn the part when quavers are in the left hand and triplets right... biggrin.gif
liebe_klavier
it doesn't really matter if a piece is extremely difficult....as long as it sounds good.... i mean music wise
cecilia
looks like arabesque 1 is winning- ten votes to none at all! laugh.gif

aw come on. arabesque 2 is a GREAT song too. they are both genius, but what does arabesque 1 have that 2 doesnt?
hornplayer
the first one has more soul, and is gorgeous, whereas the second is too "frilly" for my liking.
cecilia
Did you vote, PianoPymp? smile.gif
ConcertPianist
no i didnt vote, i dont really like playing faorites between songs i like so i let you guys do it. lol
debussy_fanatic
i think Arabesque 1 is the easier of the two, but i prefer the second one. The first one is overrated

Hi smile.gif

I like both, but I like the second one more. (come on, it's only one page longer!) I don't think it's too 'frilly', I actually think it's supposed to initate the sounds of a bird, and an arabesque has usually got ornaments in it (they both have triplets!). smile.gif smile.gif
