What type of reeds are the best to buy for: value for money and tone quality??

I usually buy La Voz reeds, medium hard. I hv one Jones but it's 2 hard 4 me though the reed is labelled "SOFT"~!! The sound always get VERY LOUD and unpleasent. I hv ta spend mo time on controlling the Jones.
Tha price of La Voz and Jones are similar. Anyway U hv to try it yuhself...
