i am about to go in for my grade 6 theory.

i have read that you get ucas points....does this mean that if i were to pass i would have an as or and a level or do i have to do that extra?

music examinations are entirely separate from AS or A level.

you get 120 points for an A at A level.
you get 60 points for an A at AS level.
you get 75 points for a Grade 8 distinction practical and 30 points for a grade 8 distinction theory.
you get awarded ucas points for grades 6-8 in music practical and theory exams.

i'm not sure how many points you get for other things... have a look round the website.
