Hello everyone,
this is my first ever piece on the clarinet from my new book "a tune a day" which I bought today. I practiced for about 20 minutes and thought I would record and see what you think if thats ok?

I would be so pleased with any comments.

It's only about 20 seconds or so and is fairly quiet

It's not bad for a first piece!! Just watching the fingerings a little at the beginning cos there was one bit which was a little messy. Also maybe try and make it play a little more smoothly and less detached and spikey

Not bad for a first go after only 20 minutes. Your playing should even out as you get the hang of the toungueing. Think I can hear the beginnings of a decent tone there too.

Recording yourself is a good idea. You never hear yourself the way you actually sound when you play; and in the future you will be able to look back and see how much you have improved.
