Hi guys, my teacher has managed to purchase two Hill E strings from the US for me. I'm really excited to get them installed on my violin. I'd just like to know why so many people find them so incredible. In fact, it was because of the many people who keep talking about the Hill Es and recommending them that I asked my teacher to get them.

They just happen to have a good attribute - that of not squeaking too much. Whether it's due to the type of steel, or the manufacturing process, I don't know. All I know is that they produce a nice sound... and don't squeak as often.
