Today I went out for a bit of a walk/run at lunchtime (the first time I have run since...hmmm...1992 I reckon). Quite enjoyed it, and found that the big park over the road is a lot bigger than I thought. I had a nice lady talking in my ear on a podcast telling me when to walk and run and telling me how great I was doing

Anyway, I kind of enjoyed it, and it was a lot more walking than running (1st run of 1st week of "Couch to 5K", a nine week programme for complete beginner runners - don't get me wrong, I still totally love my bicycle, but it is nice to have something different to do [also we have a cross-trainer indoors, which might get some use as the weather gets colder and horrider])
Tomorrow is Tuesday, so working in west London day. Nevermind, get plenty of reading done.
Wednesday I have the day off, and will voluntarily be going in to London - going to a bookbinders, and then probably just doing some bimbling around, visiting places and generally not doing much except enjoying it (one of the best things about being in central London with nothing to do...looking around yourself and seeing things, which you know the millions of people in a hurry hurry hurry just don't see!)
Thursday working again, but locally. Music lesson after work.
Friday I have the day off again, and I'm back to London again for Greenwich. Possibly via Liverpool Street, possibly avoiding that, haven't yet decided (trying to work out the chances of parking at near-ish tube station as opposed to walking to local mainline station - one is a half hour drive away, the other is a half hour walk [no parking at our mainline station on weekdays, season ticket holders only])
All in all, should be a good week, but very odd to be going to That There London three times, will be exhausted by the weekend I expect (when I am due to spend Saturday day time in Cambridge too!)
