Funny - I popped in there for my first ever visit earlier in the week when I had some time between meetings in London... then I found the sheet music department in Foyles as well... then I found Sax.Co.Uk...

Watching one of my pupils, a not-very-confident grade 1 candidate, tackle a sight reading exercise: not go to pieces, but get through it pretty accurately, ignoring a minor slip in the middle, and keep the pulse going.

I made pancakes this morning biggrin.gif Thick fluffy ones and we ate them with lashings of maple syrup and sweet blueberries (and lovely coffee mornincoffee.gif )


In heaven (where there are no such things as calories) I'm going to eat this every day. biggrin.gif tongue.gif


Assuming they let me in to heaven after I gave up the violin to play the viola.... ph34r.gif laugh.gif


And I'm only going to heaven if my dogs can come too....

I on the other hand am working, but I get a day off in lieu that I can have at a time which is more "useful" to me eg. when I have friends visiting.

I have just secured a temporary job, 3 mornings a week, which will still give me time to do my lessons, practice, teaching and band but bring in some much needed money. Only for a couple of months, and just admin, BUT its working with a great friend, who has gone out of his way to get it for me to help so should be lots of fun too. I can't wait until I start on Thursday!! biggrin.gif

On which topic, 1 of my screams from last week is over. I finally got the call I was waiting for and it was GOOD news. I've got some paperwork to resolve but hopefully that is going to be a formality then come September I've got a full time job again biggrin.gif
