Going back to the dentist and having my filling all done by 8.35am. After all, the week can only go up from here!!
(Actually, it was a pretty easy trip to the dentist, had stuff done but nothing hurt, and now, about four hours after the injection, all my numbness has worn off and I can enjoy my lunch!)

Having finally finished teaching for half-term. An early exam date has meant a few extra or rearranged lessons.

Having lots of children in my house.... all happily playing.... I know, I'm weird like that!

one or two things ... making a stand.
and no hassle or being 'watched' yay!

Just over a mile from home, cycling along, thinking that the occasional spitting rain was getting a touch heavier...and then it turned in to hail!

It made me laugh out loud lots

When I was a student, my Dad gave me his old russian hat with pull down ear protectors.

It kept me so warm, I often wondered about just going out into the snow and ice clad in nothing but this hat.

But a little voice told me that I'd probably be arrested!

For many years, a little voice also told me that I looked a complete %&#%!!%@^ wearing the hat, but it was soooo comfortable.

Then I got married and my wife confirmed my fears. I did look a %&#%!!%@^ in the hat!

She threw it away many years ago.

Just don't get me started on umbrellas!!

My lovely boxwood clarinet should have arrived at its new home in Italy by now. It is going to a collector and professional player there so it should have many more years of happiness.

I went to the pub with my kids and husband and we just had a really good time... lots of laughing etc.... and I'd had a really boring dy before that so it was especially nice....

Being told by my singing teacher that I could have made it as a professional singer, and that even at my now advanced years it's still not necessarily too late...

Went to the orthodontist for what I thought was just a check-up... Came out completely brace free and with straight teeth.

Mine is from yesterday... getting a new job

And I was the first witness!

Well I'm happy today cos I've been off work .... Went for a walk in Swainby with my husband .... very peaceful.

won't be so happy when I return to work on Monday though!!!

Catching up with what pinkoi is doing (who some of the longer standing forumites will remember) on MSN

into the City for some shopping .. but came back with next to nothing
well, you can't just put a dining table and chairs and a sideboard, sofa, bed and mattress in a carrier bag and get it on the bus ..
