well, you can't just put a dining table and chairs and a sideboard, sofa, bed and mattress in a carrier bag and get it on the bus ..

biggrin.gif

Good grief! Have you come up on the lottery or are you just intent on running up debts?! tongue.gif

I finally finished arranging and writing out the parts for our Christmas nativity celebration.
I even tidied up the mess - there was music and manuscript paper everywhere.
We found a bag of frozen chips we thought we had already eaten!
Miss Ross
Inspiration for a poem. The inspiration itself is far from pleasing, but being able to use it for something makes it a little better.

I don't really know....

... but I was driving home from somewhere tonight and the sky was a beautiful purple-orange, there was a sliver of moon, the bare trees were sillhoutted against the horizon, and I just felt at peace with the world; content and happy smile.gif

Life is good.

I was asked by a couple who are friends with my parents to play the piano for their Christmas party in December. I'm looking forward to it acctually. They want me to play carols for half an hour or so at some point in the evening, and then for the rest of the evening, they said i can play whatever i like! slightly nervous, as i happen to know there will be atleast 2 piano teachers there, 1 proffesional pianist, and a proffesional violinist!

I'm not going to play anything too difficult, but there are a few pieces she has requested that are pretty difficult, but luckily i know them already.

The best bit is i get paid! biggrin.gif tongue.gif

If anyone has any suggestions as to what would be good to play, but not overly difficult? (i have 3 concerts to prepare for and a masterclass, i really can't be bothered to learn anything to hard in time!)

Well done, lizbun! It was worth the wait then! smile.gif

My school gave me a letter today, and apparently i've been put on the Gifted and Talented scheme, but they didnt say which subject!?!? I asked my tutor, and she wasnt too sure, but she thinks it's music, but it could be another subject (can't see how though, i'm only getting A's in the other subjects, i only get A*'s in music!)
