What it means is that it clearly shows that people think you can find your way with great skill around a violin, and that should give you more confidence in your future musical exploits, and that can only be a good thing.

My flute lesson has made me very happy! Lots of good stuff - not making any mistakes and showing my wonderful teacher what I can do!:-)

Also..it cheered me up after I got my car back from the garage and it cost me money!!:-(

Going to a concert by Morgan Szymanski, playing Classical Guitar. Was great!

Twas actually yesterday, but...playing through an entire book of studies, start to finish, pretty much as sight-reading

OK, it's only "30 Simple Studies", the clue in the title for their lack of complexity, although some appear on the LCM syllabus for G1-4.
But it was just great fun to start at the start and get all the way to the end - two of the thirty needed restarts but only because I failed to notice the new key signature (and wasn't doing 30 seconds preparation time between each one, like real sight reading, I was just going for it).

And then the postman arrived and delivered a chromatic tuner, so I then spent several minutes blowing notes at it and thinking it's no wonder that our SRP musical director gets frustrated sometimes with all these different recorders which are all uniquely tuned

Looking forward to a fab weekend, so excited, and just glad that I managed to achieve an impressive *cough cough* 60/60 in my A2 composition! Well, provided it doesn't get its mark brought down by the examiners, now that would be scary

Why thank you I was so pleased, because I composed (rather stupidly, I admit - it was too much stress!) for an orchestra So I went and spent all my free periods glued to Sibelius in the music store at school to get it finished!! And now I'm pleased because it snowed too!!

I am! Two... one this weekend and one around a certain date in February...

I did notice that NI was rather reliant on buses for public transportation...

not aching today after completing the whole of my weights programme at the gym last night without any cheating at all......I have hope for similar success with the cardion programme this evening (oh eck I'm getting obsessive again!)

That I am now able to go to the formal (prom in England??) . On the down side, my two-week Easter holiday to Florida in April has now been cancelled After a year and a half of getting all hyped up! That's the SECOND trip this year that's been cancelled ARGH! So much for spending my 18th in Disney World then...

I've just had a twelve week pregnancy scan and all is well! Definitely happy today!
