I got a proper night's sleep due to a lack of pain!

Thank you, Dr L.

Extra-yay, because I can remember when I was in my second-first year of uni (as I called my restarted first year; there was my first-first year, which I dropped out of, and then went on to a second-first year, you see)...when my GP found me some painkillers that worked for my chronic illness/chronic pain that I had at the time. So very very nice

Though you do appear to be reliving the pattern of my life, Celeste

What's made me happy today is that one of my rats is at the vet having an operation. It's got to 12.30pm, and I haven't been phoned, which means the op has happened and they haven't had to phone up with News (which would inevitably be Bad News). So I get to phone them at 3pm to arrange collection time

And I'll have a happy rat minus a mammary tumour to take home and feed baby food and curly kale to
