Yesterday - a very good concert accompanying a choir at Sewerby Hall. 60+ in the audience. My solo was Beethoven's 'Farewell to the piano' which they liked so much they asked for a piano solo encore by Chopin! played them the Opus 69/1 waltz - it was the only Chopin piece I could remember without the music.
Well done oldnotes.
Mine's from yesterday too : My teacher and his wife were suitably impressed with the recording of our recital
He agreed that the concertino was much better than the recording he'd heard previously, that the Mozart was "Lovely!" That we'd done well and that I certainly looked the part too.
He's now talking of doing the concertino with some other clarinettists as a quintet - with me on solo line!!
