The Old Lady
I visited my friend who had a stroke 2 weeks ago. She was looking so well biggrin.gif
All that is left is a slight lisp with her s sounds.
We went to the pub for lunch, and that was the first time she has been out since the stroke apart from hospital visits. Apparently she felt safe with me wacko.gif laugh.gif
It was good to see her so well, but she is very tired.

I just discovered that a MUD I used to play back in 2002 is still running! Who needs fancy graphics!

I think I'm going to try to convince some friends to get back into MUDing tongue.gif

Well Grandad here hasn't played a commercial computer game since he was on his Spectrum back in 1979* (although Space Invaders and Asteroids were around during my first year at university).

I am very pleased to read about anyone recovering well from suffering a stroke, and I am certain your friend would have really appreciated being helped back into the normal world by going out to a pub for lunch with you. Good on you, Bev, for giving up some time to do that smile.gif .

My first wind quartet session. We started with flutes, then moved on to clarinets, then saxes.

its been quite a while since i had that feeling have been going through a wee little burn out i think but hopefully things are slowly on the up...
