I heard back from RSAMD earlier today, I'm going to Glasgow baby!!

It's good you're hearing so quickly. I have a student who's waiting to see whether she gets the reserve place she's holding for RNCM. She's also waiting for her DipABRSM result. Maybe I'll get a nice email soon.

I remember thinking after my audition that getting a reserve place was what I dreaded most - I'd almost have preferred a straight rejection than having to wait around biting my nails. So I'm really glad you've finally heard good news! It must be a huge relief.

And seem to have not lost your marbles having to wait so long (or have you? You didn't specifically say you were still sane - I wouldn't be after that wait.... )

Hearing your good news has reminded me what it's going to be like going for a celebratory beer (or three) in September when the thing finally starts!
