Has anybody tried the book called Explorations?

The 'blurb' description:-

QUOTE
Explorations is a series of unique, practical workbooks of musical starting points for creative instrumental teaching and learning. It forms a valuable resource bank of progressive activities to aid the development of general musicianship. It is suitable for both individual and group tuition, for use both in school and at home. It has been designed to complement, rather than replace the traditional tutor book, and may be introduced at any time from the complete beginner stage onwards. It is not intended, however, to be studied from beginning to end; rather, teachers can select activities to meet the needs of the individual student.

I've never seen it before and since it comes with DVD, it's a little expensive, but could be interesting.

Has anyone look inside, or tried it?

Hotair
Yes! I have just started teaching improvisation from this book (flute), in particular 'Jazz on 3 notes'. Will let you know how it goes!
Hotair
Tried Jazz on 3 notes today with two saxes, one grade 1, one pre-grade 1. CD was too fast, will have to find some software to slow it down!
Louise
Try Amazing Slow Downer from Roni Music.

It works very well
