Hii, I'm struggling a bit with my sports studies homework and wondered if anyone could please help?

These are the questions Im stuck on:

Explain the difference between sport and pe in school (I know Pe is a subject but whats else is different)

Some schools form strong links with sports clubs. State the benefits of this arragement.

To promote excellence within sport, there is to be a proposed National Academy of Sport. This will be either one large centre or several smaller centres in different places. What are the disadvantags and advantages of having one large centre?

What would encourage regular use of a sports centre and why by these groups:
mothers and toddlers.
the disabled.
young school leavers.

If anyone can help at all i'd be really grateful, I started this work at seven and still aren't finished sad.gif!
Thank you in advanceee!

I think of sports as being team games and athletics. Pe might involve exercises, learning about how to get and keep fit perhaps?

They would gain a lot of encouragement from the professional players and possibly better tuition too when there are visiting coaches from time to time. Also they might be allowed to use the club's facilities at times.

One large centre might have better facilities and be able to offer a wider range of activities.

What would encourage regular use of a sports centre and why by these groups:
mothers and toddlers.

A baby gym.

the disabled.

Equipment designed especially for them.

young school leavers.

Free entry to the centre.
