Choose pieces which you like and feel comfortable playing smile.gif What things have you played recently?
Misti
Consider your audience too. Honneger is good even for non-musical audiences, so long as you explain what it is the music is protraying, when introducing the piece. Image music is easy for people to relate to, if they know what they're listening out for.

By contrast, non musicians may wonder what on earth they're having imposed on them if you play Polenc or something, though it does tend to sound reasonably impressive.

If you're playing to musicians though, then stick with what you want to play, and what you feel shows off your strengths.
