I hope this isn't the stupidest question ever Just wondering if it was originally written for violin and piano or violin and orchestra? :S

I'm writing about it for my AS composition write up - have to write about what inspired me for my composition!

Fiddle and piano.

What a pity that no one ever plays any of the rest of his music. I expect that there is a lot of good stuff out there that we don't ever hear.

Someone from our percussion section played it at a competition on xylophone, he won btw!


Our conductor then arranged it for orchestra and we all played it together, and lived happiliy ever after!
Its a great piece!

on the question thing "If an idea doesn't at first seem absurd, there is little hope for it." guess it applies for questions too, NOT that your question is absurd, digging a hole here!
