Got back yesterday evening after a splendid weekend. Many, many thanks to Petrat for the organisation and hospitality. Thanks also to katyjay and MisterJay for chauffeuring me around again.

The owner of the B&B we frequented told me I couldn't have the room I had last year as there was a man in it, and he'd paid a deposit. Said man turned out to be gedall40, so it was just as well I didn't get the rooms mixed up.

And I think 'Show me the way to go home' is preferable to 'Jesus wants me for a sunbeam', which is what our car load ended up singing on the way to the Rattery.

It was good to see you all again.
How did the recital go?
My Step Dad is very ill, but was awake to chat for a minute or so.

Just checking in with everyone. I'm still shattered - but had an absolutely super weekend. Misterjay enjoyed it too

Now I have met you Andante I can say I am really sorry the lady gave me your room - I will be sure to let you have it next year .

Ratty's gone off to teach, so I finally get a chance to pinch the computer for five minutes!

Well done to all who took part on Saturday. I enjoyed the day, and it was lovely to see everyone again.

I think everyone has come along well since last year. It's good to see progress made from one year to the next.

He returned last night from a working trip away. He found the bowl looking sad (and broken!) in the bin! Now poor King Rat looks sad and broken...

DC and Ratty - I love you both!

Jill might have done but I told him the whole truith. He broke it on purpose King Rat bach. He was overcome with the emotion of the days' events and hurled it against the kitchen wall like a Russian vodka glass in full flight.

Two jacket spuds survived to tell the tale so the dog had them for breakfast the next day.

For all of you planning to come to Anglesey next year I give you fair warning now that the Sunday recital will be given by me, Ratty of this parish. You have plenty of time to think of excuses, book conferences, hair appointments and Bunbury illnesses now.

As Ratty has just ruled herself out, looks like the way is clear for just you, Jill (should I ever become available, that is!)
