Hi,

Probably a silly question, but I am looking to take Gr 5 Jazz Flute at some point, and like with all the other ABRSM exam syllabus I was looking for the neat book that has some of the pieces from each list.

It looks like there are ones for Gr 1-3 Jazz Flute, but only a CD for Gr 4 and 5 - is this telling me I really ought to buy the Real Book as well? Is this the only source for the written music at those grades ?

Many Thanks
Richard

You need the AB Real Book C edition, this contains the pieces for G4 and 5 plus a whole lot of others. As far as I know this is the only source.

Many thanks - that's the conclusion I was coming to, but the ABRSM Publishing website has never been the most user-friendly to find things on, so I just wanted to make sure.

Cheers
Richard
