I was just wondering if any of our Forumites took part in this year's Marathon. Do tell us about it if you did, or if you were there.

I was planning to run, but was too tired after yesterday

I watched the start of it - a friend of mine was running so I waved him off, then went home for breakfast. He's pretty fit and was aiming for a time of about 3hrs.

I intend to do it in two years smile.gif.
Me, mum and brother hopefully if mum is well enough!

The organist at church this morning told me his parents were both running today. Wonder how they got on....

Three hours is pretty impressive.

It would probably take me about two years to run a marathon, too.

My cousin ran but don't know her time.

I met someone in the queue for the train who did it in 3 hours 22 minutes, and thought that was too slow ph34r.gif
Deborah
One of my colleagues ran it. I've just checked online and he finished a few minutes before Choddy's dad.

I always maintain that it's not the marathon itself that's difficult, it's the lap of honour afterwarsd laugh.gif
