One year after I started looking for them and five months after I re-sat (at Grade V) because I couldn't find them, I've FINALLY found my result slips for my Grade V and, as it turned out, Grade VI theory.

In those days apparently the maximum mark was 99 but the pass mark was still 66.

In April 1972 I scored 69/99 at Grade V

In July 1973 I scored 77/99 at Grade VI

In November 2007 I scored 98/100 at Grade V: The benefit of homework shows!

Are you going to re-do the grade 6, or just use the exam results you have already? Had you forgotton about sitting grade 6? I hope it's not so traumatic that it erases memories as i'm planning to do it at some point! tongue.gif

Oh, I knew I'd passed it, or at least passed something but I wasn't sure exactly what Grade or even what year: To do Grade 8 piano you need proof of at least Grade 5 theory so it was either ask the board to search the microfiche at £15 per search, which might have cost well over £100 by the time I got lucky, or resit for £22: I resat!
