Chopin of the East
The problem is the cadenzas; apart from them, the piece is relatively easy (for me, at least). The score I possess does not contain the fingerings for the cadenzas, so I had no real idea how move through the six-group double notes. And the second cadenza was even worse; without fingerings, I can't move at all! Can someone enlighten me over here, please?

Expression wise is fine; once again it is the fingering that kills my performance.

Thanks in advance.

I have a few different editions for this piece and the fingerings given are not the same in any of them, I don't have a pc at home so i can't enlighten you much as to what they are, however i would recommend that you sit in front of the piano with pencil in hand and devise the fingerings which make the piece manageable for you. There are not many options really so it should'nt take long, the first cadenza is tricky to get right and needs a lot of practise to run smoothly whichever way you do it.. The one i used in the end was the Stainer and Bell edition and i do remember changing the fingerings given because they did'nt feel right for me. I play the 2nd and 3rd one, but the first is my favourite of any Liszt piece, though the cadenza in that seems unfathomable with those symbols for double trills or whatever they are.
